Welcome to OurChildren Legal Services

Welcome to OurChildren Legal Services.

Your mission is to help turn wishful thoughts of having a family through adoption, pursuant to the law, into reality.

We’ll help you every step of the way on your journey to doing just that a million times over.

We can help you draft a legal adoption plan, and even work pro bono to support your adoption. Here’s how we do it.

We have free legal resources online to help you get started: a free self-intake questionnaire so that you can feel empowered to navigate the pre-adoption process on your own; a step-by-step legal guide for meeting the requirements of the U.S. Department of Justice to be a prospective adoptive parent; and a detailed adoption self-help guide that covers the myriad of steps you need to take after your child has been placed.

If you get stuck along the way with the family law processes that you need to undertake, use our step-by-step online legal guides and adoption document generation services to help you create the legal documents you seek.

Turn to our database of children who are eligible to be adopted to identify candidates for adoption.

Or, if you desire for lives to change faster, remain in contact with other prospective adoptive parents via our adoption law forums or other family law forums hosted on our site. Over time, thousands of legal professionals across the country hopefully join our volunteer network to help you adopt.

What sets us apart is our 100% volunteer nature—all of our volunteers receive a nominal stipend (e.g., $5/hour), and input from members of the general public as the platform responds to their much-needed legal information needs on family law and child protective law in the United States as a whole.

Never before has there been a singular dedicated platform pushing a mammoth initiative like ours—a platform dedicated to family law and child welfare as a whole in the United States—a platform that isn’t “out recruiting attorneys” to “limit the margins of the legal industry away from the customer.” No, not here. We’re quite the opposite—an army of full-time executive, pro-bono regulated volunteers and village chapters working self-defensively to educate the public of all relevant family law and child protective laws so that they never become out-laws. And we’ve figured out how to do so—even while we live freely giving away our own wealth, sweat, and tears in the meantime.

So take some time to review our offering on various family legal courses, all of which teach about either family law courses or child protective proceedings (referred to collectively as “child welfare” here): (1) Family law courses for 50 states and additional federal jurisdictions; and (2) Child welfare (child protective) courses for 50 states and additional federal jurisdictions. You will learn material viz legal empowerment that you will absolutely use while traversing family law and child welfare.

We are here to support you , as our society’s pro bono effort, right when you need it. Know that, as you begin the process or continue on.

Step-by-Step Adoption Guides

As parents who have been through the domestic and intercountry adoption processes, we understand how stressful not only navigating issues related to adoption, but also in meeting immigration guidelines for travel, securing a United States visa, and traveling smoothly with children can be. This is why we have created step-by-step adoption guides on the key legal requirements of taking children abroad and bringing them home.

First, our step-by-adoption guides cover all of the steps from beginning to end for both domestic and intercountry adoptions, including the process that begins after a child is in your arms and your new family is in the United States! Furthermore, we recognize that many people are already in different stages of the various processes. That is why our adoption guides address a wide range of needs, goals, and challenges faced by both individual families and adoption agencies.

Our step-by-step adoption guides solve legal, as well as practical problems and take long-for granted expertise to the next level by guiding parents—and adoption agencies—through the complex process. For example, by breaking down the broad categories of the process to sections and listing each of the steps, we walked parents through the maze while explaining how acquiring a visa and other important information and documents before the final travel and adoption process are necessary.

There are many things to consider when adopting. Our step-by-step adoption guides are designed so you can follow them from start to finish affordably and empowerment through knowledge. These guides explain the laws and procedures involved in domestic and intercountry adoptions while simplifying the technical terminology to make it easier for you to complete each type of adoption safely and legally.

Our guides cover everything from the requirements for becoming an adoptive parent to receiving a final decree of adoption which gives your child legal status as your own. We give tips for gathering all sorts of important information before, during and after the adoption, and the actual adoption documents yourself as a U.S. citizen or foreign national. And these step-by-step adoption guides are available at a fraction of the usual price charged by U.S. adoption attorneys or brokers for the same information! We’re family-oriented too: Nashidity.info is run by a family of legal professionals and volunteer database developers.

You can adopt with confidence at nashidity.info because we’re here to help. Want to get started? Click on the adoption type of interest to you below to view detailed hints, tips and adoption forms covering U.S. domestic and intercountry adoption in quick, easy-to-understand steps.

Success Stories and Community Support

Inspiring Success Stories: Join Our Community of Hope

Join the path with many families depending on teamwork. Join the team to navigate through family, substance abuse, and adoption successfully. Case in point, the following family learned to embrace the change and lean on the “village” around them for support:

We have been praying for a child for a couple years now and every time we would listen to Josh Wilson’s song “Come home,” I would tear up. Josh Wilson, who is from Seattle (by the way) . . . he is some sort of an ambassador to explain what adoption is about to those who seem confused.

Our success story recognizes the hard work and the great support system that helped us along the way to provide love and hope without end. We’d encourage anyone who’s considering adoption not give up if the first few matches don’t pan out and you face opposition. In the end its about your child and the earlier you find that “niche,” the better.

Join our mission to foster hope.
